Pastor Wesley Triplett was born to Mr. & Mrs. Willie (Lillie) L. Triplett Sr. on September the 29th 1979. Pastor Wesley was raised in the church and was covered by a praying mother that always knew that God had a special anointing on her son’s life. As Pastor Triplett grew and developed God blessed him with many talents that allowed him to attend Longfellow Elementary School, Kansas City Middle School of the Arts, and finally graduate from Paseo High School of the Performing Arts where he majored in music and minored in art.

Pastor Triplett has always been active in local ministry even as a child singing in youth choirs, playing percussion, and as he got older writing, arranging, and directing for many talented groups all over the USA. Pastor Triplett is a classically trained trombonist and is proficient on 20 plus other instruments.

Gods hand continued to be on PastorTriplett’s life as he attended De Paul University in Chicago IL and toured with the Count Basie Orchestra. But feeling the press in his spirit Pastor Triplett returned to the Kansas City area to continue school and seek the well of God.

While in school Pastor Triplett was blessed with aspecial gift in the person of Min. Shonda L. Triplett. This angel of God wouldnot only turn out to be his wife and partner in life, but his partner in ministry as well. This rare gem (Min. Shonda) has been instrumental in supporting the gifting and anointing on Pastor Triplett’s life, and brings to the table the ability to minister under the leading of the
Holy Ghost. He is proud to have been married for over 11 years!  They were blessed with two beautiful children; Zion Javon (10 years old) and Zaria Ja’el (4 years old).

Pastor Triplett accepted his call to ministry in July 2001, and under the tutelage of Bishop Larry B. & Pastor Olivia C.Q.Aiken, Pastor Triplett was trained, groomed and released to preach his first sermon in September of 2004. Pastor Triplett used his talents and experience of
working with youth in schools to help the youth ministry, and that background allowed him to flourish there. Pastor Triplett was blessed to be ordained as Elder and assigned as Youth Pastor on October 2008.

Pastor Triplett is a dedicated member of
Memorial Missionary Baptist Church, and believes in the vision of the house. He believes that the work of youth is most important to the sustaining of the Body of Christ, and the engaging of the next generation for God. Pastor Triplett believes in creative, fun, and age appropriate ministry that set’s the stage for a life long relationship with Christ. Pastor Triplett strives to live a life that will be an example to others so that they might see the Glory of God. His passion is seeing life’s change whether they are young or just young at heart, and giving praise to God for the marvelous things that He has done!
